A few cars and lorries passed me on route but no human voice heard until I got into work 54 minutes later, I think until that point I felt I had been in a lonely running world of my own! But the words I heard, from a generous work colleague made something click back into place in my head and heart- Well done Diane, I can't believe you have run into work again, here let me give you your sponsor money. Here is a picture of me and Sue in reception just as I had finished day 8!!! The moment of realisation hit me again and I thought no matter how hard this challenge gets, every ache, pain, drop of sweat is worth it, for the fantastic support and money I am raising for the children at Martin House Children's Hospice.
Thank you to everyone to my generous friends, family and work colleagues at Aviva, you are helping such a fantastic "claus"!!
If you anyone wants to sponsor me because I still have a long way to go, please sponsor me at http://www.virginmoneygiving.com/dianechapman
